Most Reel Ready sessions are completed virtually - just like a Zoom meeting. That means that wherever you are, we can work together.
There's also the benefit of getting you comfortable with your own set up, giving you the confidence to jump in and record video without me!
Prefer face-to-face?
If you're local to the Hills District (NSW), and your office or home has a quiet space that also has a suitable backdrop area, I can come to you.
Set aside a little more time for an in-person session, as we might need an extra 15 mins to set up.

What kind of videos do I get?
Short, snackable clips perfect for reels, TikToks, or LinkedIn. They’re evergreen and can be reused across platforms.
These are not full-scale, corporate productions but quick, engaging videos designed for social media.
What if I'm not used to being on camera?
That’s exactly why you’re here!
What I won’t do? Give you a script.
I will give you an idea of the questions I’ll be asking, but there’s a high chance we’ll go off track, down rabbit holes and back again. And that’s perfect.
Not having this scripted really does make the end result heaps better. Once we just get into a conversation that flows naturally, you’ll relax more and it will show. You’ll come across as the amazing expert you are.
What happens on the day?
Virtual Option
You’ll already have links to Squadcast, which is the virtual recording studio we’ll use. Jump into the green room about 20 minutes before-hand, test your camera and microphone and check your background.
I’ll login and open up the recording room at our scheduled time.
I’ll guide the conversation, especially to start with. Most chats go for around 30-45 minutes, although I usually leave a buffer in case we’re just having too much fun.
After we finish recording, please, please, please, don’t close the Squadcast tab until it tells you to.
You see, it actually does this really fancy, techy thing where it uses both of our computers to record, so that if our internet connection goes icky, it can patch up any gaps. Clever, huh?
In-Person Option
I’ll come to you, camera and microphone in tow. Together we’ll decide on the best spot to set you up, and we’ll chat through any questions you’ve got while I set myself up.
I’ll hit record and guide you through a conversation where I’ll strategically ask questions about your business, your journey, and any other interesting topics I’ve researched – or that come up on the day!
Sometimes the best bits come from the unexpected turns that a chat can go down, which is why we don’t do scripts.

Can I book a Reel Ready session if I'm not local?
That’s exactly what these are!
While from time to time I’ll do some in-person sessions, the majority of Reel Ready are done remotely.
Why?
Well one, it keeps the cost down, but two, it gets you used to chatting away to your own camera, using your own gear, with guidance from me that you can use again and again for later videos.
Do I need any professional gear?
Nope! I can make magic with your existing setup or recommend simple upgrades if needed.
Do I get direction during filming?
Yes, but in a natural, conversation-led way. If you need highly scripted coaching, this may not be the right fit. My main focus is on guiding the conversation to make your clips as natural-sounding as possible.
Ten video clips wasn't enough! Can I get more?
Often, our chat results in heaps more than just 10 possible video clips.
If that’s the case, after we’re done producing the 10 included in the package, we’ll let you know if there are any potential extras.
Extra clips are $79 each, and will be edited in the same style as the original 10.
Can I choose what we talk about?
Absolutely! When you book, make sure to let me know in the comments section if there’s anything in particular you do (or don’t!) want covered.
Outside of that, prior to our chat I’ll do some research into your business, industry and audience, and have a pretty good idea how to guide the conversation so that we get some awesome content that’ll resonate with your people.
Do we do any preparation beforehand?
There’s not much for you to do – but I’ll be doing plenty!
I’ll send you a guide on anything you might want to do prior – such as checking on your camera settings, or getting familiar with the software I use if we’re recording remotely.
My job before we meet is to do some research into your business and industry, so that I can guide the conversation on the day to discuss the stuff your audience wants to know (this bit is kinda my superpower!).
I’ll send you some example questions before, but it’s super important to note that these sessions are NOT scripted. The best recordings come from sessions where we just relax and chat – rather than it feeling like a job interview.
Think of it this way – we usually record for around 45 minutes. Out of that, we can usually find about 10-20 awesome snippets of video. That’s less than half of the time we spend talking – so there’s plenty of footage left on the cutting room floor.
By structuring the sessions and editing in this way, a lot of the pressure and stress is removed. No need for perfectly prepared scripts.

Due to the nature of video production, refunds are not provided based on personal preference or dissatisfaction with appearance, delivery, or style.
