STEP ONE: Book Your Session
Book your session into the calendar below.
STEP TWO: A LITTLE PREPARATION
On The Day
Give yourself time
Get yourself looking and feeling fab and rock up to The Good Egg Studio in Riverstone. Give yourself enough time for any traffic, to cross the railway line if you’re on the ‘wrong’ side (locals will get it!) and to find parking.
Once you’re here, you’ll be welcomed upstairs to the brand new Hatchery studio.
We'll have a chat
We’ll get you sorted with a lapel mic, and do a couple of checks.
Then, Anastasia will ask you a bunch of questions. It’s totally normal here for the conversation to go a little “off-track”, sometimes that makes for the best content!
That whole chat will be recorded. Don’t worry if you stumble – it’s all edited, and out of the half hour conversation, we’re only looking to get about 10 usable minutes.
What to wear?
WHATEVER YOU WANT
But, if you do need some help deciding:
Solid colours are less distracting,
Stripes can cause a weird wavy effect on camera,
Your brand colours are a great addition.
Strike a Pose
Hopefully at this stage we’re now all besties, our cheeks are hurting from laughing, and you’ll be feeling on top of the world and ready for Kirri to take some brilliant new branding pics for you.
Now, Kirri is the QUEEN of taking charge and telling you how to pose. Don’t stress about where to put your hands, or if your double chin is making an appearance. Anastasia’s had plenty of shoots with Kirri, and still to this day can hear Kirri’s voice “stick your bum out” every time a camera is pointed her way.
Other helpful stuff:
Make sure your phone is set to Do Not Disturb
Key words or phrases on sticky notes help you remember stuff

Most importantly, be comfortable
While most days I’m okay with showing up on camera without makeup, hair not done and wearing mismatched sweats; for content that’ll be used over and over again, even I do some stuff to avoid cringing at the sight of myself.
If it makes you more confident to put that extra time into how you look – take the time to do it. If the best time to schedule this is right after your next hair appointment when you’re feeling fab – check the calendar and do it.
And remember – we’re all a little weird. I mean, I once showed up on a professional Zoom meeting dressed as Spiderman.
